Day 2 The Effective Leader's Role: Everyone Is A Team Leader - Among The Topics To Be Covered: A Reminder That We "Manage" Stuff & Things - We LEAD People (There's a difference!); The Fundamentals of Strategic and Annual Planning & Budgeting; The Importance Of Taking Initiative; The Importance Of Catching Others Doing Things Right; Team Rules; How To Structure Effective Line And Staff Relationships; Critical Components Of The Leader's Job Description; More On Communication; Eliminating “Silos”; How To Use Action Plans And Achievement Reports; "Time Management"; Team Member Opinion Surveys; The Importance Of A “Give Up List.”

Day 3 The Effective Leader's Role: There Is No Such Thing As A “Non-Marketing Employee” - Among The Topics To Be Covered: Marketing & Community Relations Defined; Effective Media Relations; The Role And Responsibilities Of The Public Information Office and each employee; Effective Brand-naming; Choices We Can Make To Effectively Position County Governments.

Tuition: The tuition for participants in this academy is $350 per person ($300 each for more than one registration from the same agency.)
